Korea and Taiwan run the same, more advanced version (Chapter 1 "Land of Sand and Frost"; the Brawler was added on July 1, 2026), so they share one list.
Arena, duels and Abyss fights: burst, control, survival and how much a class carries in group battles.
Editorial ranking compiled by Shugo.GG from evidence only: damage logs from the community meters NotMeter and Abyss Logs (compared at equal combat power where possible), each class's share of NCSOFT's season rankings (the top 100 of all 42 Korean servers, relayed by community sites since NCSOFT's web ranking page is offline, and Taiwan's last snapshot), named editorial reviews and creators who show their data, and NCSOFT's balance notes for the facts. Group value (tanks, healers, party buffs) counts in PvE. Boosting-service and content-farm lists are not used. Reviewed after each balance patch. Updated 2026-10-04.
S tier - Top picks
- Gladiator - #1 in the 1v1 arena rankings on 19 of 42 Korean servers and dominant in the last Taiwanese snapshot.
- Assassin - #1 in Abyss points on 14 of 42 Korean servers and second in the 1v1 arena: stealth openers and burst.
A tier - Strong
- Ranger - Above its share in Korean Abyss top 10s and among the best in mass fights; average in duels.
- Spiritmaster - Third in the Korean 1v1 arena rankings thanks to fears and roots; weak in the Abyss rankings and in 5v5.
B tier - Solid, situational
- Templar - Holds its player share in the duel and Abyss rankings; the September 4 class care trimmed its PvP.
- Sorcerer - Average in duels and below its share in the Abyss rankings; strong burst in group fights.
- Cleric - Last in the duel rankings and near the bottom in Abyss, but a top performer in 5v5 and mass fights, where its heals carry.
C tier - Struggles in this role
- Chanter - Under-represented in the duel and Abyss rankings; its buffs pay off mainly in organised 5v5.
- Brawler - Too new and under-geared to place in the rankings; the top Taiwanese arena player rates it among the weakest in duels.
