AION 2 Class Tier List - PvE, PvP and Solo Farm
AION 2 Global launch build (Advanced Access September 30, 2026, full launch October 5). Eight classes: the Brawler is not available on Global yet. PvE rests on the first Global damage logs, PvP on the Korea/Taiwan rankings until Global has its own numbers, and solo farming on the class reviews and each class's skills.
Dungeons, expeditions and raids: damage, survivability and what a party wants in its slots.
Editorial ranking compiled by Shugo.GG from evidence only: damage logs from the community meters NotMeter and Abyss Logs (compared at equal combat power where possible), each class's share of NCSOFT's season rankings (the top 100 of all 42 Korean servers, relayed by community sites since NCSOFT's web ranking page is offline, and Taiwan's last snapshot), named editorial reviews and creators who show their data, and NCSOFT's balance notes for the facts. Group value (tanks, healers, party buffs) counts in PvE. Solo farm means killing mobs alone in the open world: no meter measures it, so its placements rest on the class reviews of Inven and Mein-MMO and on guide makers with high-level play, checked against each class's skills; the one-person Nightmare rankings only add who kills a boss alone. Boosting-service and content-farm lists are not used. Reviewed after each balance patch. Updated 2026-10-11.
S tier - Top picks
- Chanter - Tops both Global damage meters in the first week and brings the strongest party buffs: damage, attack speed, shields and heals.
- Sorcerer - Second on both Global damage meters and among the best endgame damage in Korean logs; fragile, so positioning matters.
- Templar - The tank every party needs, with a group shield and damage sharing, and solid damage on the first Global meters.
- Cleric - Main healer with resurrection and cleanses, wanted in every hard dungeon; low personal damage on the meters.
A tier - Strong
- Spiritmaster - Strong damage on the Global meters and in Korea; its buffs cover only itself and its spirit, with no party buffs.
- Assassin - Among the top damage in Korean endgame logs and brings a party damage buff, but behind the casters on the early Global meters.
- Ranger - Slow start on the first Global meters, yet part of the top damage group in Korean endgame logs; safe ranged play.
B tier - Solid, situational
- Gladiator - Near the bottom of both Global damage meters so far, and its party bonus on block is small.
