AION 2 Class Tier List - PvE (Korea / Taiwan)
Korea and Taiwan run the same, more advanced version (Chapter 1 "Land of Sand and Frost"; the Brawler was added on July 1, 2026), so they share one list.
Dungeons, expeditions and raids: damage, survivability and what a party wants in its slots.
Editorial ranking compiled by Shugo.GG from evidence only: damage logs from the community meters NotMeter and Abyss Logs (compared at equal combat power where possible), each class's share of NCSOFT's season rankings (the top 100 of all 42 Korean servers, relayed by community sites since NCSOFT's web ranking page is offline, and Taiwan's last snapshot), named editorial reviews and creators who show their data, and NCSOFT's balance notes for the facts. Group value (tanks, healers, party buffs) counts in PvE. Boosting-service and content-farm lists are not used. Reviewed after each balance patch. Updated 2026-10-04.
S tier - Top picks
- Sorcerer - In the top damage group at equal combat power (week of September 30) and above its share in top Transcendence clears.
- Spiritmaster - Top-three damage at equal combat power in Korea and Taiwan this week, with fears and dispels on top.
A tier - Strong
- Ranger - Within 5% of the best damage and the most common class in top Transcendence clears.
- Assassin - Second-highest damage at equal combat power, but melee classes struggle to find groups in the season 4 Sanctuary.
- Brawler - Highest damage at equal combat power this week, though still too new and under-geared to show in the party rankings.
- Templar - The tank of choice: above its player share in top Transcendence clears, even after the August 26 synergy cut.
- Cleric - Still the main healer and never under-represented in top party clears, despite the August heal cuts of 20 to 50%.
B tier - Solid, situational
- Gladiator - About 10% under the damage classes at equal combat power, and its party bonus was roughly halved on August 26.
- Chanter - Its party buffs and heals were toned down in August, and its damage sits 13% under the median at equal combat power.
