AION2 Global - Patch Notes October 14: Halloween Event, Conquerors of the Abyss, Odyle Energy Limits, Sorcerer & Spiritmaster Fixes
The Halloween event runs until November 4 (CET): Trick or Treat attendance, weekly event missions and Coin Merchants paying Halloween Pumpkin Coins, Candy Keys from Expeditions and Transcendence. Abyss Rift Stones for Kina until October 28, the Odyle Energy weekly limit raised during server transfers, Sorcerer and Spiritmaster fixes, a Y-axis camera option and less Abyss stuttering.

- During the server transfer period, 'Instant Clear Ticket: Daily Dungeon (Bound)' and 'Soul Crystal (Bound)' move from Wind Breeze Merchants › Special to Substance Morph › Special › Wind Breeze Merchants
- 'Odyle Energy (Bound)': the 16 per server weekly limit is removed and the per character limit rises from 4 to 20
- 'Lower Abyss Rift Stone (7-day)' is sold in Wind Breeze Merchants › Special for two weeks

Summon: Ancient Spirit Ancient Spirits at level 15 or below activate their skills again
Sorcerer
Fire Wall Bonus damage applies with a height difference; your Embers are no longer removed by another player's stronger Embers
Cold Storm Bonus damage applies with a height difference; your Frostbite is no longer removed by another player's stronger Frostbite- Bittercold Wind The Frost cooldown reduction works with a height difference
🎉 Events
Halloween (October 14 - November 4, CET)
- Trick or Treat attendance: 35 Halloween Pumpkin Coins (Event) a day, 100 on days 7 and 14
- Event missions (Season Mission › Event, weekly per server): Abyss hunting, Transcendence, Expedition Conquest, Ascension Trial and Nightmare clears, logins, Unique gear, scrolls, Dimensional Invasion and Shugo Festival, 20 to 30 coins each
- Coin Merchants in Dawn Legion Base / Zumion Village (Elyos) and Safe Haven / Nornir Assembly (Asmodians): a Special Halloween Chest (Spooky Scary Skeleton breastplate skin and 10,000 Pet Soul Crystals, 250 coins), Odyle Energy, Lower Abyss Rift Stones, skin chests, tickets, keys and consumables
- Candy Keys: Candy Key Fragments from Expedition and Transcendence dungeons morph into Red, Yellow or Blue Candy Keys (60 fragments, once a week per server each); the candies in town give pet chests, Battle Enhance Scrolls, Abyss Points, Life Crystals, Odyle Energy and Resurrection Spiritstones
Conquerors of the Abyss (until October 28, CET)
Abyss Rift Stones (Event) for 50,000 Kina in Wind Breeze Merchants › Special, 7 per character per week (level 45+).
🛍️ Promotion
New armor skin sets until November 25 (CET): Monarch of Blood, Midnight Witch and Midnight Slasher ($29.99 each on the Purple store).
🔧 Improvements and Fixes
- Two weekly Abyss Season Missions (spend 1 hour in the Abyss, defeat Guardian Lord Nahma) now also give Abyss Entry Stones
- Battlefield base stats are adjusted so fights last a reasonable time; stuttering in large Abyss battles is reduced
- New options: invert the camera's Y axis, show or hide your HP bar under "Show My Nameplate"
- Listing gathered materials on the Market can now be restricted based on play history
- The maximum accumulated Abyss time is now 7 hours
- Wrong graphics settings on PCs with two graphics cards, crashes at some refresh rates on 4K monitors, longer loading with FSR, and positions reset when reconnecting during the Shugo Festival are fixed; graphics settings are no longer saved to Steam Cloud
