Answers to common questions about Shugo.GG: supported regions and servers, the AION 2 Global launch, how profiles, leaderboards, the tier list and the item database work, and how to get help.
Shugo.GG is a free, fan-made companion site for AION 2: character profiles and gear inspection (armory), PvP and PvE leaderboards, a data-driven class tier list, an English item database, rift timers and English translations of the official patch notes and news. It is not affiliated with NCSOFT.
Korea (KR) and Taiwan (TW), with every server of both regions. AION 2 Global (NA / EU) launches on October 5, 2026, with Advanced Access from September 30 for Founder's Pack owners. Global characters, rankings and items will be added as soon as NCSOFT opens an official API for the Global service; until then the "Global" entry in the region selectors stays disabled.
Type the character name in the search bar on the home page, pick the region (Taiwan or Korea) and press Enter. Results list every match across servers; open one to see level, class, gear score, equipment with enchant levels, stigmas, arcana, legion and rankings. The profile URL can be shared or bookmarked.
Check the region first: a Korean character will not appear in a Taiwan search. Names must be spelled exactly as in game. Brand-new or recently renamed characters can take a while to show up in NCSOFT's search. If the official character API is down, the API status pill in the top-right corner of the site says so.
Profiles are fetched live from the official API when you open them (with a short cache). Leaderboards refresh every hour from NCSOFT's ranking API and the tier list is recomputed from them. Since September 2026 the official ranking API has been unavailable, so leaderboard and tier list updates are paused: the red dot in the navigation and the API status pill show the current state.
It is computed from the official leaderboards, not from opinions: the number and placement of players of each class in the ranked lists of each content type (Abyss, Arena, Nightmare, Transcendence, Raid), with PvP, PvE and combined views per region. The exact weighting is described in the Algorithm panel on the Tier List page.
From NCSOFT's official AION 2 item dictionary, with English names. Korea and Taiwan run the same game version, so one database covers both. Each item shows its grade, level requirements, class restrictions, base stats and random bonus stat ranges, plus a preview of the stats at every enchant level: Heroic gear goes to +20 with 5 breakthrough tiers, Unique to +15 with 5 tiers, Epic to +15, Rare to +10 and Common to +5.
They are English translations and summaries of NCSOFT's official Korean patch notes and notices, usually published the same day (Korean patches land most Wednesdays). Every article links to its official source. They are unofficial community translations. Announcements for the Global version carry a Global tag, and everything is available as an RSS feed.
Advanced Access opens on September 30, 2026 for Founder's Pack owners and the free-to-play launch is on October 5, 2026, on Steam and PURPLE. There is no public API. The RSS feed of news and patch notes is free to use with a credit and a link to Shugo.GG. Game data (characters, rankings, items) belongs to NCSOFT.
