October 21, 2026 - Chapter 1 Season 4 Extended to November 11, Abyss Re-Matching, Faster Assault Skills & Stronger Healing Reduction, Arcana Cap 500
Korea's Chapter 1 Season 4 now ends on November 11 instead of November 4 (season resets, shops and the two Daeva Passes follow), the Abyss servers are re-matched into 21 groups (Artifact and Corridor ownership reset), every class's Assault skill is 50% faster and the healing-reduction skills are strengthened across all classes. Arcana storage drops from 1,100 to 500, with a new extraction reward.

Greetings, Daevas! Here is a summary of the October 21st update on the Korean servers.
AION2 - Chapter 1. The Land of Sand and Frost
📅 Chapter 1 Schedule Change
- [Chapter 1: Season 4] now ends on November 11, 2026 instead of November 4
- Season content and season missions reset on November 11; season items are deleted on November 11
- The Pass Shop and Season Shop sell until November 11; the 'Season: Crafting' and 'Season: Boss' supply requests can be delivered until November 11
- The two Daeva Passes (Legacy of Flames, First Encounter with Illusion) can be used until November 11 and subscribed to until November 10
🌌 Abyss
Server matching
- The servers are re-matched into 21 West/East groups; Artifact and Abyss Corridor ownership is reset
- Each group keeps one of three time slots (KST): Artifact Siege Wednesday/Saturday 9:20, 9:50 or 10:20 PM; Abyss boss Wednesday/Saturday 9:45, 10:15 or 10:45 PM; Guardian General Nahma Friday/Sunday 10:00, 10:30 or 11:00 PM

Common Changes
- Every class's Assault skill casts 50% faster, with an improved sound
- The healing-reduction effects are strengthened on Blade Toss, Debilitating Smash, Apply Poison, Marchutan's Wrath, Bloodflow Block, Drill Dart, Firestorm, Jointstrike: Corrode, Heal Block and Voice of Doom
Gladiator
Assault Strike 50% faster
Blade Toss Healing received reduction 70% → 75%; Spec 1 bonus +20% → +25%
Templar
- Assault Fury 50% faster
Debilitating Smash Spec 3 healing received reduction 60% → 75%
Assassin
- Assault Ambush 50% faster
Apply Poison Healing received reduction at level 1: 12% → 25%
Brawler
- Assault Blow 50% faster, and no longer affected by combat speed
- Bloodflow Block Healing received reduction at level 1: 46% → 76%; the debuff no longer fails to clear
Chanter
- Assault Shock 50% faster
Marchutan's Wrath Spec 3 healing received reduction 70% → 100%
Ranger
- Assault Smite 50% faster
Drill Dart Healing received reduction 60% → 75%
Cleric
- Assault Mark 50% faster
Voice of Doom Healing received reduction 60% → 100%
Heal Block Healing received reduction at level 1: 32% → 52%
Absolution The level 25 effect now replaces a lower-level Absolution
Spiritmaster
- Assault Terror 50% faster
Jointstrike: Corrode Healing received reduction now 75% by default; Spec 3 adds +25%
Sorcerer
- Assault Bombardment 50% faster
Firestorm Spec 3 healing received reduction 60% → 75%
Cold Storm Stacked Frostbite now deals its bonus damage; level 2-4 Frostbite no longer triggers it wrongly; Spec 1 no longer applies one extra Frostbite after the effect ends
Fire Wall No more bonus damage on targets without Embers
🎉 Events
- Transcendence: Arcana Growth Support and Arcana Supply Support are extended to the November 11 maintenance
- Growth Support is extended to November 11; activation and support coin purchases run until November 4
🔧 Other Improvements and Fixes
Improvements
- Rank icons on nameplates and showing other players with a uniform appearance can now be set separately for the field, the Abyss and the Spacetime Rift battles (Settings › Graphics › Optimization › Character Info Display)
- Arcana storage is reduced from 1,100 to 500; the excess must be extracted. Extraction now gives 'Advanced Training Arcana (Bound)' and no longer gives 'Mysterious Crystal (Bound)'; accumulated progress is removed and Mysterious Crystals will be granted later based on it
- Bound pet chests can be opened in larger batches
Fixes
- Empyrean Traces blocked by Halloween decorations at the Dawn Legion Base and Zumion Village (Verteron) are moved to reachable spots
- The [Movement Controls] category no longer appears twice in Key Settings
- Killing the Temple of Fire Trial boss as the dungeon expires no longer counts as a failure
- Changing weapon skin now interrupts the Halloween weapon idle animation
- Inheritance Stone Fragments (Unique/Heroic) sold by the Season Shop, Expedition exchange, Growth Support and achievements are replaced with Flames of Inheritance (Unique/Heroic)
Recovery
- Since the October 7 update added a Substance Morph for Masterpiece Remnants from Expeditions and Transcendence, the Remnants players deleted, sold or restored before it are returned to each character's cube; Silentium is recovered for those that were sold
